Frequently asked questions
Do transactional and marketing emails share the allowance?
Yes. Every email counts toward your plan's emails, any kind: API sends, campaigns, flows and Inbox. Past it, pay-as-you-go bills your plan's rate per 1,000 emails.
What happens when I go past my contacts?
A contact counts when it is subscribed to at least one topic and not suppressed. With pay-as-you-go on, contacts past your plan are billed per 1,000 at your plan's rate: $8.80 on Pro, $7.70 to $4.40 on Scale, on the most you had in the month. Without it, new contacts are refused at the limit. Free stops at 900.
Do flows cost extra?
No. Flows are included on every plan, with a fair-use limit of 250,000 runs a month. The emails a flow sends count against your plan's emails like any other.
Can I use my Rasket address in Apple Mail or Outlook?
Rasket Inbox runs in your browser on any device, and it installs as an app. Mail apps such as Apple Mail and Outlook (IMAP and SMTP) are coming to the paid plans.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. Pay annually and save 20%. Usage above your plan is billed monthly. Annual plans renew each year, and we email you before the renewal.
Do you offer non-profit or education pricing?
No, all plans are currently priced the same for every customer.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Enterprise plans are invoiced.
Is there a free trial available?
No, but we provide a free-forever plan: 3,000 emails a month, up to 100 a day. Sign up and send to your own address with no card at all. The full allowance switches on once you have verified a domain and added a payment method to your account. The Free plan still costs nothing.

Use Talk to sales on the Enterprise page with your expected volume, and we will put a plan together.
What happens if I send more emails than my plan allows?
With pay-as-you-go enabled, you can continue sending beyond your monthly quota and only pay for what you use. Overages are billed in buckets of 1,000 emails at your tier's overage rate: $0.60 on Pro, and on Scale a rate that steps down from $0.60 to $0.25 as your volume grows. Campaigns and flows draw from the same emails. It is on by default on a paid plan with a card on file, and you can switch it off in your team settings. With it off, once you reach your quota the API answers with a clear quota error until the period resets or you upgrade.
What counts as an email?
Each recipient of an accepted send counts as one email, whether it was sent through the API, a batch or the dashboard. Recipients on your suppression list are not counted, and canceling a scheduled email before it is sent gives the count back.
Does the daily limit apply to paid plans?
No. Only the Free plan has a daily limit of 100 emails. Pro, Scale and Enterprise are limited by their monthly quota alone, and by pay-as-you-go beyond it.
