GuidesClickUp

ClickUp

Connect ClickUp to Rasket with ready-made automations on Zapier or Make: a task becomes a contact, and a bounce or an email you receive becomes a task.

Coming soon: these templates are not published yet. Until they are, build the same automations yourself from the steps below.

Why templates

ClickUp doesn't list apps from other companies yet, so there is no Rasket app inside ClickUp. The Rasket apps on Zapier and Make already speak to ClickUp, so these templates give you the same result with nothing extra to install. Both use the Rasket app on Zapier or the Rasket app on Make, so your suppression list, consent rules and plan limits apply.

The templates

  • Add Rasket contacts from ClickUp tasks moved to a status. When a task moves to a status such as Won, its email custom field becomes a contact in a segment. Not subscribed unless you map a field that says they agreed.
  • Create ClickUp tasks for bounced Rasket emails. Each bounce becomes a task in the list you pick, with the address and the reason.
  • Create ClickUp tasks for new emails received in Rasket. Each email to your receiving address becomes a task, so someone follows up.
  • Send a Rasket template when a ClickUp task is created. A welcome or confirmation email to the task's email custom field.

Build one yourself

  1. In Zapier or Make, start a new automation and connect your ClickUp workspace and your Rasket project.
  2. Pick the ClickUp trigger (Task status changed or New task) or the Rasket trigger (New Email Event set to Bounced, or New Received Email).
  3. Add the other app's step: Create or Update Contact or Send Template Email in Rasket, or Create task in ClickUp.
  4. Map the email field, test it once, and turn it on.

Only add people who agreed to hear from you as subscribed. A ClickUp custom field such as a checkbox, mapped to the contact's subscription, keeps that honest.
